Go to the Direct TV website and they're advertising about the wonderfulness of 4K TV, but they're not broadcasting 4K yet due to a software snafu in their 4K receiver. This has been going on since January of this year and there's no time frame for a roll out of the fix.
So if you're expecting 4K programs through Direct TV, you can't get it yet.
