The advice is simple: This was a $750.00 lesson. Be thankful it wasn't $7500.00 or $75,000.00 ( Yes it does happen ! )

Yes, it is very disenfranchising when these situations arise, it also happened to myself once for the sum of $1,600.00, which was a pretty expensive lesson in itself, yet, this will give you some street-smarts on transactions you may consider being involved with in the future. Stay secure.
