I figured I was not the only one to get this.
And I'm assuming it is a scam.
But what the hey...here was my response.Hello Thomas,
I'd be glad to sell you the Magnepan speakers for the price they were
advertized for. I am firm on the price.You can send the money order to me, however, I will request my bank to confirm its authenticity prior cashing it. I will then allow your shipping company to pick up the speakers at my residence. You will be responsible for contacting the shipping company and telling them when, and where, to pick up the speakers.
If you wish to pursue this purchase, please e-mail me. I will then provide my work address to send the money order to, and a phone number. I do not provide my residence address to anyone.
Of course, after any response by him, I'm only going to allow him to send the amopunt for the speakers. Paying for the shiping and arranging for the shipping is on his time and out of his wallet.
Scammers....let's shoot them all, or at least waste their time.
