An alternative is www.audioxsell.com. I'm quite sure that they're not going to offer any more protection than Audiogon, nor do I have experience with their management. They are, however, free. Before anybody responds with 'you get what you pay for', consider what you get - or rather don't get - for $6 on Agon.
