Yeah, that guy is a goofball.I picked up a few records from him recently. The records were in good shap and I payed very little for them. What irked me was that the general listing mentioned flat rate shipping, which also showed up in my Ebay watchlist, but his actual listing description had a completely different shipping cost schedule.
Since the listing did contained terms and I agreed to them with my bid, I payed more than the flat-rate I was expecting. In emails I pointed out the discrepancy and said he should fix it to avoid confusion in the future. He casually disregarded that and left me believing that he didn't care about the misrepresentation or used it his benefit.
When I received the records, the actual postage was $2.81. He charged me $8.50 for that, but since that was the rate mentions in the listing it was my fault for not reading all of the fine print.
I have gotten in the habit of not leaving feedback for those that do not leave it for me. The feedback system is voluntary. I have one negative that was a retaliation for a neutral that I left. I have no intention of letting that happen again.
