...but it still represents diaphragm motion not controlled by the voice coil.Indeed, and neither do these cone resonances reflect back into the electrical portion of the driver to any degree either. In spite of the huge variations in acoustical output from these resonances (look at an unsmoothed response plot of any driver you care to name), the electrical impedance plot remains exceedingly smooth.
