I put in a light bulb over the kitchen table, among others, in 1991, it is still running, has never ben turned off ( except for black outs, and the elike)Nice worm perfect light: 100W 220V running on the 110 Volt system.

P.S. Our town is in the process of installing "gass" lights along the road: 1000W or somthing like that, light polution, blinding you so you can not see anything. STUPID. But, it looks good in the daytime.
Light should be used to put light on things so one can see them. It is all over, one get blinded.
