If it was going to cost much more than a normal light bulb you have to take into account al the other factors that determine the lifetime of a lightbulb - damn those kids next door ;o) Actually I heard of some ligtbulb some 5-10 years ago that was using new technology and should be able to last 100k+ hours. As fare as I remember it should cost around 10-15 USD but I have not been able to find them now where you ask. I seem to remember some thing with magnetic technology and low tempurature but it is all lost in a dark cloud of fog...Rgds
