The signals they transmit are typically phone bandwidth (200-3500Hz, give or take), but some of them now play MP3, WMA Pro, or other wideband content at 22050 or 44100 Hz sampling rate, and so at least digitally can get to higher frequencies.It's easy to radiate high frequencies out of a small transducer, so that part is not a bit issue.
