I am slightly bemused by this thread.I have just looked up an article by Clark in Positive Feedback in which he attacks scientific thought in order to promote various audiophile products. He can hardly do this and claim to represent the outlook of a physicist and, to be fair, nowhere in the article does he make this claim although I cannot speak for other articles.
Holding a degree in Physics, as suggested by Pat D, and being a physicist (reasoning like a physicist) are not the same thing. Does Clark claim his views are those of a physicist (scientifically valid) or those of an audiophile and valid under conditions other than those dictated by the scientific method? I have only seen the latter.
