do NOT address the issue of superconductivity at ambient conditions, what they do is to provide high conductivity conductors.Apart from that, that fact that something is patented does not mean that it works. The patent examiner (basically) only checks if somebody else has done the same thing before, he does not care whether it works or not. In some extreme cases he might raise questions, when principles and rules of science and engineering appear to be violated (cf. perpetuum mobile, stuff like the GSIC). The Intelligent Chip for instance would be rejected.
