John what is your background in psychology and the power of the placebo effect? Working in the pharma industry I can tell you that the old placebo can work wonders sometimes. Basically what you are saying is that there were no controls on this test whatsoever. As a man who I would think is scientifically minded, surely you see that it could be nothing more than the power of suggestion. It could also be something more as well but with your quick and dirty "test" we will never really know and neither do you. It has been shown countless times just how easy it is to fool the brain and thus affect the body. This is why controlled tests were conceived in the first place.
