bridged-amp + series speaker vs se-amp + parallel speaker?

83.109.148.110

What would be the better setup, if there are any differences at all?
Amp rated at 200W8ohm and 400W4ohm single ended, or 800W8ohm and 1600W4ohm brigded.
Load is two 8ohm bass drivers.
Option 1: Parallel drivers for 4ohm load and run amp single ended for 400W. Thats a (peak) voltage swing of 57V and current of 14A.
Option 2: Series drivers for 16ohm load and run amps bridged for the same 400W. Thats a (peak) voltage swing of 114V and current of 'only' 7A.

So in both cases each speaker driver gets 57V and 7A. Thats 200W for each driver, but the main difference is in the current and voltages running through amp and cables. What is the best?

Speaker cables will be roughly 30ft.

Also: someone told me the total 'Q' of the drivers get lowered when they are in series and in the same enclosure compared to when they are in parallel. ???

Thanks for comments.
