does your Laz have muting for turn-on-off transients? - not much fun to see low-xmax woofers move 2" p-p

Samson R built 'cost-effective' w/ paper/phnolic pc boards but sound Ok to me - Servo 260 and F1200 (latter has big EI like 22lb core xformer) - F1200 has typcial fan noise and lacks level controls

some pro amps with op-amp up front for balanced/ 1/4" input just seem more harsh - can be heard on Servo 260 by going from RCA (chich bypass that op amp) to 1/4" input - not sure if just FR diff or what
