For $200 you're going to get a Chinese made amp from a 2nd tier company; nothing wrong with being Chinese made, but there will be corners cut in the overall quality with respect to hardware, power supply, etc. Spend another $100 and get into a 1st tier name brand- Crown, QSC, Yamaha, Alesis, etc- that has less power but better component quality. For home use with 91dB speakers 100 watts/8 ohms per side is fine, even 50WPC is adequate for moderate levels. Go for the maximum quailty, not power, for the dollar.
