Another speaker simulation program is Murphy's WinSpkr or MacSpkr. Works on both OS. It goes with a huge database, although it needs to be updated. Anyway, you may fill the database with your own parameters.
Deals with excursion limitations and non-linearities too.
It also appears that some people would ned to refresh their knowledge about elctroacoustics.
At a practitioner level, i would recommend Murphy's book "Introduction to Loudspeakers design", ISBN 0-9663773-2-X. You can get it along with the softwares on the site below.
At a medium technical level (BS and > in physics and/or mathematics), you should rad and reread "Introduction to Electroacoustics and Audio Amplifier Design" by W. Marshall Leach ISBN 0-7575-0375-6. Available at Amazon's.Good readings and good sims!
