Re: Testing SRC algorithms - how did Spark XL do?

Hi Ben,

I haven't heard megabitmax dither as yet.

The version of Spark (now discontinued as you may know) I had was ME, not XL. With ME, the audible artifacts of its SRC algorithm were lower in amplitude than some of the others I listened to but also started lower down in the frequency spectrum.

Though I didn't get to listen to the SRC algorithm in Spark XL, I have heard good things about it which make me suspect it was different from the one used in Spark ME.

I do know at least a couple of the current products on the market are currently undergoing revisions of their SRC algorithms.

Hope this helps.

Happy Listening!
Barry
