This mic maybe a little more in price than you wished for but it's new, transistorized, is made in Sweden and is a dark horse that few know about. It is cardiod but has a rectangular diaphragm which is much more constant across it's frontal pickup than a round capsule. Pearl is also made in Sweden and they have several good mics that are seldom used in the USA. I don't sell them and I don;t own stock in the company. There are very sweet on violins, but whatever you buy --biy a stereo pair! Ray Hughes
