I believe that if you replace the bridge rectifiers with a home-made bridge composed of 10 Amp-rated soft-recovery diodes, add (.01/630V) capacitor snubbers across the diodes, replace the IEC input cocket with an integrated IEC/RFI filter (available surplus for around $4.00 for 10 amp rated filters), and increase the biasing of the MOSFETS, this would help clean-up some of the low-level hardness.
