Not personally familiar with Ashly stuff but I believe it has a good reputation

The circuit is probably newer than the Counterpoint.

And since it is a pro amp, probably puts good current on the rails.

Not sure if you'll benefit that much from a bridged pair. However, if you can pick up another Ashly at the right price, if there's no additional benefit, you could use it for subs under the horns _grin_.
