OK, ya got me there, but tell me of a consumer pre amp that is cheaper then a Mackie 1204 or maybe a new small Onyx, that has 12ax7 as inputs.That was the original question.
And on the Rock bit ...let's see, Dark Side of the Moon, Crime of the Century. What do they have in common? Huge mixes. Dozens of inputs. Also, award after award for audio excellance. It's the people it's their ears that make art, not the way they got there.
