I love the sound of my electric bass rig (Peavey 400 head w/ 1x15" speaker). I've play a variety of newer (and much more expencive) rigs where the sound is somewhat better, but not nearly enough to justify the loads of cash it would cost to get them. There is actually a bit of an excess of high frequency in the amp and speaker, but nothing that can't be fixed with some high frequency cut on the EQ in the head. Thanks for your suggestion anyway though.Michael
