I have been inside such buildings in heavy rain.Without fiberglass batting pressing firmly against the roof,
the building will roar loudly, and even a well-insulated drop
ceiling will not make it quiet enough for meetings.If both the roof is damped, and there is a solid plaster ceiling
it could be quiet enough. Just concentrate on having the steel
damped first. Any spray-on coatings should be fire retardant.
