I am interested in purchasing a Mackie VLZ Pro 1604 mixer to use with my drums. I would like to know if there is enough of a difference between this mixer and the mixer it replaced, the 1604 VLZ. I do not care much about features, only sonics. I could purchase a VLZ for hundreds less than the VLZ Pro, but if there is enough difference in headroom and other sonic measurements, I could go with the VLZ Pro. Any comments are appreciated. Thanks.
