The 300a still had issues with frying speakers. That's what you get when you make an amp that reproduces "0" hz perfectly. I beleive the 300aII had tweaks to protect drivers, which would mean an rc network on the outputs. Just guessing, but the specs are available.Just get a hafler and be done with it. The 300 series are great as test equipment for generating variable voltage at variable frequency, however.
