The only reason that I want a FBT Pickup 6 is that it is a small mixer with inserts on the master outputs. The mixer that it would replace is a Peavy RQ 300, which has two band eq(practically useless)and inserts on the mono inputs. This is okay for the two channels that I currently run, but if I wanted to add more mics I would have to hook up another compressor. The object is to keep the system as simple as possible, as it occasionally gets disassembled and the components used for a annual conference.
