TOA have been around for a long time in public address, and should be quite suitable for your purposes. They seem to be reasonably reliable and you could certainly do a lot worse. Sound quality is quite ok.
Would recommend that system be installed and set up by someone who knows what they are doing - the best gear will be crap if not installed correctly.
