Wave editors use tons of Hard drive space. My 192k/24 bit editor, can use 10 gigs on a small project.

Go to Circuit City, and pick up a 20 Gig hard drive. They are only $99 Bux.

Search through www.cnet.com and see what editors you can download as freeware.

The reason it takes so much HD, is the clipboard will store your progress , so you can go back, if you made a fatal mistake on an edit.

Each edit requires an entire backup of the wave file, and at hi-bit, we are talking ...I have taxed huge hard drives. Defrag after each session.
