Thanks RBP -Since I intend only at this point to use the cheap on-board sound card of the Packard-Bell K6-400, - I guess my question becomes: - what is the best CHEAP WAV editor which would be easy to use so I can burn CDR from my analog sources into the sound card's input?
The Sonic Foundry programs are out of my price range - As I mentioned I only have about 640MB or so of hard drive available and can't get much more freed - maybe another 50MB if I remove Volo View reader My needs are basically to do an 'OK' dubs of LP and casette with the existing sound card as lowly as it may be.
Goldwave seems to priced nicely - may I ask what other programs in that price range work fairly easily? (Am I up against a bad barrier with only 640MB HD space available?)
I'd sure apprecate any opinions and recomendations!!!!
