Thanks Lee for clearing that up, cuz a lot of times you see terms balanced and unbalanced being used interchangably with +4dBu and -10dBV.To the person who e-mailed me about this message, I accidentally deleted your e-mail. I just ended up putting the eq and sonic maximizer through the inserts, and things seem to work out fine. The meter on the mixers reading 0-7dBu for the most part so I'm not gonna mess with what isn't broken. I'm hoping the extra money you and I spent for the balanced version of sonic maximizer is paying off because the mixer inserts are feeding them with +4dBu signals. Fingers Crossed.
