Yes, it is an "odd brand" and not one that has a lot of fans. It was a small, inexpensive little deck and was not found in many studios. There is one for sale in LA that has sat in the same music store for at least 3 years. Other than the Lyrec or Stephens portable machines, it is probably the smallest 2" 24 track ever built. But I have never talked with anyone who actually used one, so I can't comment on their sound.
