The A52s are very good home speakers, tailored towards a slightly "less agressive" sound than a studio speaker. You mention the BM6, well that is rather larger and more powerful than the A52, it is more like an A60. The BM5 is like the A50.
The amps people mention are all very good, but expensive. I would keep the A52s for your home system and look at the likes of Alesis Monitor 1mk2 actives. They are bi-amped and sound amazing. I believe they go for around $350 per pair. Sound on Sound magazine love them. HiFi World call them an audiophile bargain.
