The level is being pushed past 0 dB ( 2.83V) Clean now.
It is a horsepower race.
Keeps "us pro mastering engineers" in biZ.
My software alone cost over 10 grand, and the sound card + CD mastering hardware, 50 times that.
If you want pro quality results, consult a pro.
They are avalible at competitive rates as well.
Home equipment is not based on the same standards ( Thank God.)

It would be hard to build an automobile to the Buick Park Avenue standards for twice the price...if you tryed yourself.
Please keep us in buisness and support your pro mastering houses. We have years of experience, and bill's to pay....not to mention the huge investment we must recoup.
