Paul,

I had the Ultracurve and used it with a W2000 laptop with the MIDI I/F. I was using a Midiman USB interface (Midisport 1x1) without any problem (I also used it with a Behringer Feedback Destroyer Pro). The behringer software was working fine, not totally intuitive though. To be honest I don't remember if I had access to all functions remotely.
