a REALLY good solution (imho) is the Audio Technica 822 (i think it's the At822 - it might be 825) - stereo condenser. they street for just over 500cdn. sound GREAT. diaphrams are perfectly aligned for nil as far as phase cancelation. much cheaper than going with 2 large diaphram mics!
