Can I make a good live recording of our band using..more

A Revox b77 reel to reel, and 2 mics? I only want to capture what the audience is hearing by placing 2 mics facing each side of the stage, back by the audience, as we play.
We did a studio demo, which was mastered to cd. It is technically very good, but lacking the "live" excitement when we play to an audience. I plan on buying an m-audio 24/96 card to transfer the 2 track reel to cd. What are 2 good reasonably priced mics to use? Whats the best mic placement etc.
