LOL! I worked in a pro-audio repair shop. heheheheWe viewed Peavey the same way. Generally, we judged the quality of equipment on how fast we would see a new line after it hit the sales floor. Our top units in for repair were Alesis, Kurzweil, Ensoniq, Fender, and newer Peavey equipment. Note: NEVER use a PV series power amp, and if you do DO NOT load it less than 4 ohms - they explode within.
I'm still feeling out this new series. Every company eventually comes out with something that is very unlike their previous reputation. Maybe this is their's.
As far as the Behringers, already used an MX2442. Decent at best was my take. The durability was very low and the faders are extremely susceptible to what we call "bar funk" (cigarette smoke mainly) as well as developing a profuse amount of cracked solder joints. Had to dive inside more than one of those. It has all the options, but lacks the headroom & has a hissy noise floor. The power supplies are built rather well though :)
Who knows, maybe I'll be the one to give this new series a run for it's money. Somebody has to do it. And if it turns out to be a lemon, it's good to be a repair tech....I can fix it, sell it, and move on LOL!
