What is your definition of "totally conflicting"? Your use of the phrase seems to be based on more speculation than anything. For example, Bill originally stated "BTW...I actually co designed many phono cartridges with Ortofon in the late 70's..." which prompts your inquiry:

What was Bill's age at the time, pray tell? A couple years makes a lot of difference at that time in one's life. Is it "totally conflicting" to be both young and co-designing phono cartridges?

What are you talking about? A couple of message titles in a deleted thread on a message board containing something about a mathematical log function definitely leaves a question hanging in some sort of wind, but it's hard to see what's so "totally conflicting" here.

Tsk, tsk, Felix. Either you're being metaphorical or you don't understand what effects lobotomies have. If you're being metaphorical, you must be trying to insult Bill. What a surprise. Fear3000 *never* tries to insult people, right?

Deception involves truth, i.e. objective reality, out of congruence with a person's statements or actions. What do you *know* about Bill that doesn't match up with his statements? Until you can back up your accusations with hard fact, you are doing nothing more than speculating and nitpicking.
Just out of curiosity, what happened to your indignant queries about "What albums have you mastered, Bill?" Bill wrote to this kindred spirit of yours named "Buster":
