You are on the right track.Aardvark cards are killer for the money...but with this computer game now...as soon as you buy something, something else is +++++ better, so go with your gut feeling, and keep it affordable.
The SSL/Cray experimental 32/384 card I have will cost 6K less next month...is it really worth it? At least I have used it for 9 months.
Next thing you will know you can run DSD for 500 bucks....just follow your needs and financial returns...remember it is fun, and it is a business too....don't bury yourself in gear....(unless it is cheap and works)
