Well just a general summary the MA or Macro Tech 10000 series was the top dog untill the I-Tech 8000 came out, this unit with PFC Power Factor Correction uses 25 to 30 Percent of input wattage to produce the same output rating. I have repaired these and so far the parts are available quickly from Crown. The prices have dropped and are available from parts suppliers and most budget music retail box stores fro 1/2 retail prices so they are not half bad as far as the macro tech series it is still available in the 02 version af the original designs, and yes the CE 4000 is like an air cooled K2
