It does, the Cardiod pattern and figure 8 more than omni directional.No worse , or not as bad as what happens with Loudspeakers above 3 K.
540 to 960 degrees is the norm sweeping up the spectrum with Loudspeakers.
You have to take the good with the bad, use common sense, and sometimes a barrier beween mics that are close spaced.
