I have the singers at an angle, about 30 degrees, But the phase relationships are mostly a non issue. If Phase needs to be changed, the old phase meter will tell me, but this is nothing like as complex an issue as phase on an acoustic piano. It would be impossible to correct that, and the phase relationship is part of the instrument.
With the B&K's, the singer can stand back 3 feet or more, and I have none of the proximity effects that would be incurred.
