No Fostex is still owned by the Japanese entity, Foster Electric. As matter of fact the components (like horns and drivers) are commonly (mistakenly) called Fostex, when they are in fact Foster.....This was only exacerbated by the fact that for a short while, Fostex imported Foster components under the Fostex name....
