I have to agree with your points, Bill, and your points are exactly what I was trying to get at. My father still has a homebuilt ported speaker with a JBL woofer in it, (No mid or tweets) (he has little hearing range beyond 6KHZ now) He has always loved them. I am glad I got a great deal on my Jubals, I suspect that I will not be able to piuckup a pair of speakers like them again easily.
