I wouldn't use them either but then I build speakers, not buy them. For the buck I doubt if they're all that different than the rest of the crop. Besides, bands using stuff at that price point don't have the Claire bothers mixing sound for them. I find that most garage/wedding bands have far more problems with a lack of sound expertise than anything else. For that matter I can say the same thing about FOH engineers for at least half the major touring acts I see, including some with Claire Brothers crews at the helm.
