The mackie stuff sounds like crap to me. I live in the Pacific Northwest where the manufacturer is located so I have been assaulted by this stuff many times over. The horn section is particularly snarly. In addition their lower end mixing boards are a radio transmitter! For a capacity of 300 people I like stuff a little larger but then again it is a pain in the ass to move.
