I have an Acoustic Control Corp 301 bass cabinet that's a folded horn with a single 18 inch speaker with 4 ohm impedence. I am contemplating the purchase of a David Eden 210 XLT to use for smaller gigs and practice. I was also hoping to run the 301 together with the Eden for added punch. The Eden is available in either 4 or 8 ohm versions. If I want to do things correctly, should both speaker cabinets match in impedence? What would happen if I run a 4 ohm and and 8 ohm cabinet together. If I run two 4 ohm cabinets, what is the total impedence? Should I have any concerns with my amp - its a 1968 Fender Bassman - about 50 watts.
Thanks for your help!
