Go to your local hardware store
Pickup a plug that tests the wiring on an outlet
They are very affordable
It has a three prong plug and three LED"S on it
Plug it into the outlets your going to use in a club
and it will tell you if neutral/hot are reversed or any one
of many illegal combinations in wiring
Believe it or not there are outlets in clubs wired wrong
Im not saying this was your problem but this is a good safety
measure to take for the sake of your gear.
A friend plugged his gear in an outlet in a club that was
just wired...the hot and ground were reversed
It took out his gear... :)
