I've run my rig with no problems for 10 years.
MIXER --- Rane mp24
AMP --- QSC 1500ex
SPEAKERS -- JBL sr-4738
DOUBLE CD PLAYER -- Dennon 2500
2X SENHEISER -- WIRELESSRecenly added two lap tops - had a ground problem but lifted the ground on the AC DC adapters. And it cleaned up.
NEW PROBLEM ===== at a recent gig I had huge humm-buzz problems.
Nothing I tried worked. NOTHING! Unplugged my PC's and adapters.
Lifted the ground on all items. Nothing worked.
Had to bring out a back up mixer/amp and reconnect everything. Scared myself, and the Bride, nearly to death (but I survived). The guys at "a local music shop" say to make myself bullet proof I must buy an isolation transformer for $1,300.00 SOUNDS PRICEEEEEE!!!!!! & HEAVY.
note: ON A SEPERATE CIRCUIT !!!!! no problems here. lighting was not the issue.
