The Behringer unit is somewhat noisy, and service for the unit is, pretty much, unobtainable. AFA the comparison, I have not actually done an A/B shootout, but, from my experience the EV unit is a very good unit for the $$'s. I know quite a few sound companies that use this unit still, and their rigs sound great.Now my 2 cents - the Behringer unit is unacceptable for the home hi-fi due to its higher noise floor. It will be much more noticable in a home environment than in a concert setting. I would recommend looking at the DBX driverack PA for about $475. A much higher quality unit, and DBX's service is very good. Remember, you get what you pay for..
